This is a module of 18 contact hours, which gives seafarers the essential knowledge, confidence and practical experience to be able to respond to fire emergencies on-board ship.
This course includes a thorough theoretical grounding followed by a full-day practical session, currently run at the Edinburgh Airport Fire Training Centre. Practical training is conducted by professional firefighters, who are MCA approved.
